With 30+ years of casting experience in the Boston area, Angela Peri, C.S.A., is the owner and founder of BOSTON CASTING, INC. Known as the hardest working woman in show business, Angela is a member of the Casting Society of America and an original member of the Massachusetts Production Coalition. Angela founded Boston Casting in 1991, and has cast thousands of national, regional and local productions from feature films to commercials, industrials and reality television. Angela’s recent credits include Jake Gyllenhaal's STRONGER, CHAPPAQUIDDICK, Mark Wahlberg's PATRIOTS DAY, and David O. Russell’s Academy Award® nominated films JOY and AMERICAN HUSTLE. Her most recent projects include PROUD MARY starring Taraji P. Henson, the upcoming projects I FEEL PRETTY starring Amy Schumer, EQUALIZER 2 starring Denzel Washington & CITY ON A HILL starring Kevin Bacon. Other recent films include: TED & TED 2, THE FORGER, SEX TAPE, THE FIGHTER, EQUALIZER, THE JUDGE, R.I.P.D., HERE COMES THE BOOM, THE PROPOSAL and LABOR DAY.
Lisa joined Boston Casting with a teaching background in early childhood and elementary education. She transitioned from teaching to commercial production, working as an on-set child wrangler for Fisher Price and Hasbro. Lisa joined Angela in 1995, rising to the challenge of casting and wrangling over 7,000 local extras for the film CELTIC PRIDE. She then went on to cast principals and extras for the feature films THE MATCHMAKER and MOONLIGHT MILE. Recently she cast the critically acclaimed independent film, DONALD CRIED, principals for STRONGER, The Jeff Bauman story, the teen thriller SLENDERMAN, as well asTHE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN BIGFOOT and SOUND OF METAL. She has also cast hundreds of local and national commercials for clients such as Care.com, The Connecticut Lottery, Commonwealth Care and SAI Global. She still loves kids and kids casting.
Lisa often speaks on panels to actors and students about careers in casting and acting. Recently she was a featured speaker on casting panels for the Massachusetts Production Coalition, Independent Film Festival Boston, Winter Film Awards in New York City and Savannah Film Festival. Along with day to day casting sessions, Lisa also focuses her efforts on business development for Boston Casting. She was a founder of the Media Performance division of Boston Casting (an acting school at Boston Casting), and recently launched a new branch, offering personal media coaching for athletes, attorneys and business professionals. Lisa also specializes in innovative technologies for the casting industry, managing the company’s database of over 91,000 local actors and extras.
Lisa is still passionate about education and is a City Year Boston Red Jacket society member. She has run The Boston Marathon 4 times, raising tens of thousands of dollars for various organizations in support of autism research and programs.
Lisa is a 2018 “Year of the Woman” Imaginaire award recipient.
With Boston Casting since 2007, Hilary specializes in casting commercials, web videos, independent films and kids casting. Together with Angela Peri, CSA, Hilary has worked on such films as KNIGHT AND DAY starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, THE FIGHTER starring Mark Wahlberg, THE PROPOSAL with Sandra Bullock, PINK PATHER 2 with Steve Martin, and WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU with Mark Ruffalo and Ethan Hawke. Her television credits include casting for LOUIE on FX and the pilot WAR OF ’04 as well as commercials and web videos for Zip Car, Mass. Lottery, Fidelity, Meineke, VISA, American Express, and Liberty Mutual. Prior to joining Boston Casting, Hilary ran her own casting office in New York, specializing in theater casting. She began her career as the resident casting director for The Philadelphia Festival Theater for New Plays based at the University of Pennsylvania. While there, she singlehandedly cast over 40 world premiere productions of new plays, by such well known playwrights as David Mamet, David Ives, Lee Blessing, Jules Feiffer. Hilary is a graduate of Oberlin College.

Brittany has been teaching acting classes to kids and teens for more than 14 years in Boston, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Given her experience in casting, her expertise lies in audition technique and some of her students can be seen on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Nickelodeon, NBC, ABC, Discovery Channel, as well as local/national commercials, print ads and even on Broadway!
Brittany relocated to Boston in 2012 after spending time in Los Angeles, casting both feature films and television programming. She began as a casting assistant for casting director Joseph Middleton and worked closely with casting directors Brandi Brice and Dana Gergely on Disney Channel’s hit television series A.N.T. FARM, and the Disney XD pilot SHMAGREGGIE SAVES THE WORLD!
Prior to living in Los Angeles, Brittany was the Director of Education for an acting school in Washington, D.C. for over four years. In addition to being the director, she also spent a great deal of time teaching both children and adults beginner and advanced acting courses. Brittany has a Bachelors Degree in Drama from Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts and currently serves as the Director of Boston Casting's Media Performance.
Heather brings with her years of experience in TV, film and commercial casting. She previously worked with Doron Ofir Casting (Popular Productions) in LA and at House Casting (A Milk Group Company) in NYC. Heather's feature films credits include EQUALIZER 2, SLENDER MAN, PROUD MARY, XMEN: NEW MUTANTS, WHEELMAN, BRAD’S STATUS, and CADAVER - as well as the Netflix Series FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE and the ABC/Showtime pilot SMILF. A graduate of the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. Heather continues to remain active in the Theater, Improv and Comedy scene here in Boston and is always on the hunt for new emerging talent.
Mike started at Boston Casting in the summer of 2014. Working in the extras department, Mike has been involved in casting films such as Ted 2, Joy, Central Intelligence, Measure of a Man, and Super Troopers 2. His latest credits include extras casting director for Equalizer 2 and is currently casting background on a new showtime pilot. Prior to working at Boston Casting, Mike was pursuing a professional basketball career until a string of injuries (including a torn achilles) abruptly ended his basketball career. It was during Mike’s recovery when he began working in film and made the decision to pursue that, over basketball. Mike attended the University of Buffalo and Merrimack College where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications.
Melissa, a Long Island native, started working at Boston Casting as an intern in 2016 after graduating from Fitchburg State University, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Communications focusing in Film/Video and Theater and minoring in History. After the completion of her internship she realized the casting industry is where she wanted to be. Melissa started as office manager and commercial casting assistant during the summer of 2017 working with clients like BAUER & DUNKIN DONUTS and then moved onto extras casting for a series of Katie Fforde films. She is now a casting associate and has worked on the Netflix film Wonderland as well as Rian Johnson’s Knives Out.
Ellen Korsh has been a part of the Boston acting community for the past 25 years, as a casting director, actor, model, and photographer. Her extensive experience both behind and in front of the camera, gives her a unique perspective when casting. She began her career casting children for print and commercials and then co-founded "Outcasting, Inc" in 1990. For the past ten years she has been a senior casting director with Boston Casting and has cast countless commercials and corporate videos. Ellen is also owner and photographer at Ellen Sargent Korsh Photography specializing in actors' headshots.
Ann started her career in the business in 1977, working with American Residuals and Talent, a casting and paymaster company. In 1980, she went out on her own as Ann Baker Casting. Working in film, television, and theatrical communities, Ann is a seasoned casting director. From 1982 to 1990, she served as the New England casting liaison for ABC-NY, and was the casting director for the ABC-TV series Spenser: For Hire, the feature film Mr. North, produced by John Huston, the Emmy Award winning PBS series Concealed Enemies, a CBS movie of the week First Affair, andThe Gathering Part II for NBC. For 11 years she ran her own full-service organization, Ann Baker Casting Company. She is a recognized leader in the development of the industrial film market and has worked with producers from Digital, General Electric, Raytheon, and the AMA. When not casting, Ann specializes in coaching beginner and advanced on-camera commercial technique.
