With 30 years casting experience in the Boston area, Angela Peri, C.S.A., is the owner and founder of BOSTON CASTING, INC. Known as the hardest working woman in show business, Angela is a member of the Casting Society of America and an original member of the Massachusetts Production Coalition, Angela founded Boston Casting in 1991, and has cast thousands of national, regional and local productions from feature films to commercials, industrials and reality television, and specializes in extras casting and kids casting. Angela’s recent credits include Mark Wahlberg's PATRIOTS DAY, Jake Gyllenhaal's STRONGER, David O. Russell’s Academy Award® nominated film JOY as well as AMERICAN HUSTLE, THE FINEST HOURS, BLEED FOR THIS, and CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE. Other recent films include: TED & TED 2, THE FORGER, SEX TAPE, THE FIGHTER, EQUALIZER, THE JUDGE, R.I.P.D., HERE COMES THE BOOM, THE PROPOSAL and LABOR DAY.
Angela Peri's Honors & Awards
Nominated for five Artios Awards, Angela has worked with many of the nation’s top directors. Angela is featured in the Bill Brett book Boston Inspirational Women, and is the recipient of the 2009 Imaginnaire Award for her vast contributions to the New England production community. An Italian-American, Angela received the 2014 I Migliori in Mens et Gesta Award from the Pirandello Lyceum for her important contributions to her Italian/Sicilian culture, society and the community, as well as 2015 Italian American of the Year from the Madonna dilla Sacoroso Society.
As a retired actress and stand up comedienne, Angela continues to infuse her own brand of humor and experience into causes she is passionate about. Angela lends her expertise to organizations and events related to autism, and is the recipient of the 2013 President’s Award from The Federation of Children with Special Needs, and the 2008 Margaret Bowman award for outstanding parent in the autism community. Lastly, Angela was invited to throw the first pitch at Fenway Park in May 2015 for her work in the autism community.
With Boston Casting since 2007, Hilary specializes in casting commercials, web videos, independent films and kids casting. Together with Angela Peri, CSA, Hilary has worked on such films as KNIGHT AND DAY starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, THE FIGHTER starring Mark Wahlberg, THE PROPOSAL with Sandra Bullock, PINK PATHER 2 with Steve Martin, and WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU with Mark Ruffalo and Ethan Hawke. Her television credits include casting for LOUIE on FX and the pilot WAR OF ’04 as well as commercials and web videos for Zip Car, Mass. Lottery, Fidelity, Meineke, VISA, American Express, and Liberty Mutual. Prior to joining Boston Casting, Hilary ran her own casting office in New York, specializing in theater casting. She began her career as the resident casting director for The Philadelphia Festival Theater for New Plays based at the University of Pennsylvania. While there, she singlehandedly cast over 40 world premiere productions of new plays, by such well known playwrights as David Mamet, David Ives, Lee Blessing, Jules Feiffer. Hilary is a graduate of Oberlin College.

Brittany has been teaching acting classes to kids and teens for more than 12 years throughout Boston, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Given her experience as a casting professsional, her expertise lies in audition technique and some of her students can be seen on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Nickelodeon, NBC, ABC, Discovery Channel, as well as local/national commercials, print ads and on Broadway.
Brittany relocated to Boston in 2012 after spending some time in Los Angeles, casting both feature films and television programming. Brittany began as a casting assistant for casting director Joseph Middleton and most recently worked with casting directors Brandi Brice and Dana Gergely on Disney Channel’s hit television series A.N.T. Farm, and the Disney XD pilot, Shmagreggie Saves the World!
Prior to Los Angeles, Brittany was the Director of Education for an acting and modeling school in the Washington, D.C. area for over four years. In addition to being the director, she also spent a great deal of time teaching both children and adults beginner and advanced acting courses. Brittany has a Bachelors Degree in Drama from Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts and currently serves as the Director of Media Performance at Boston Casting.
Mike started as an intern with Boston Casting in the summer of 2014. Working in the extras department, Mike has been involved in films such as Ted 2, Joy, Central Intelligence, Measure of a Man, and Super Troopers 2. Prior to Boston Casting, Mike was pursuing a professional basketball career until a string of injuries (including a torn achilles) abruptly ended his basketball career. It was during Mike’s recovery when he began working in film and made the decision to pursue that, over basketball. Mike attended the University of Buffalo and Merrimack College where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications.
Ann started her career in the business in 1977, working with American Residuals and Talent, a casting and paymaster company. In 1980, she went out on her own as Ann Baker Casting. Working in film, television, and theatrical communities, Ann is a seasoned casting director. From 1982 to 1990, she served as the New England casting liaison for ABC-NY, and was the casting director for the ABC-TV series Spenser: For Hire, the feature film Mr. North, produced by John Huston, the Emmy Award winning PBS series Concealed Enemies, a CBS movie of the week First Affair, andThe Gathering Part II for NBC. For 11 years she ran her own full-service organization, Ann Baker Casting Company. She is a recognized leader in the development of the industrial film market and has worked with producers from Digital, General Electric, Raytheon, and the AMA. When not casting, Ann specializes in coaching beginner and advanced on-camera commercial technique.
Ellen Korsh has been a part of the Boston acting community for the past 25 years, as a casting director, actor, model, and photographer. Her extensive experience both behind and in front of the camera, gives her a unique perspective when casting. She began her career casting children for print and commercials and then co-founded "Outcasting, Inc" in 1990. For the past ten years she has been a senior casting director with Boston Casting and has cast countless commercials and corporate videos. Ellen is also owner and photographer at Ellen Sargent Korsh Photography specializing in actors' headshots.
Heather brings with her years of experience in TV, film and commercial casting. She has worked with Doron Ofir Casting (Popular Productions) in LA and at House Casting (A Milk Group Company) in NYC. Heather's feature films credits include Wheelman, Brad's Status and Cadavar, as well as the Netflix Series Friends from College and the ABC/Showtime pilot Untitled Frankie Shaw Project. A graduate of the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Heather continues to remain active in the Theater, Improv and Comedy scene here in Boston and is always on the hunt for new emerging talent.
