Angela Peri highly recommends this seminar if you are an actor looking for work:
“You’re not going to get the job if they don’t know you are out there.” This seminar  takes the mystery out of the process of promoting yourself as an actor in New England and helps you drum up enthusiasm for your services. The concepts presented apply equally well to theater, film, TV and voice-over work. Marketing involves creating your best promotions and getting them to the right people, but there’s a whole system that actors need to know about to land work. From mapping out a strategy, to doing all the right follow up so you’ll keep getting hired. Come ready for some laughs, as well as solid advice on how to succeed at your dreams.

Julie Arvedon has been involved in casting, marketing, advertising, public relations, and video production in the Boston area for over 20 years. Prior to joining Boston Casting, she was Communications Manager at North Shore Music Theatre and worked as a video producer for WHDH-TV, New England Financial, and Liberty Mutual. She was also Vice President and Casting Director at Crewstar. A past president of the Boston Chapter of the International Television Association (ITVA), Julie currently serves on the board of the Massachusetts Production Coalition.

Recent participants write:
“This class teaches everything that they should have taught in college. I left there feeling like I had a lot of work to do…and now I know how!”

“This 3 hour seminar is a “Marketing 101″ for any actor who needs to focus on the selling of him/herself as a talent. She went from a general overview to specific insights towards helping me clarify and act upon my objectives at hand. Brava!” Luis N.
