Master Class with Federico Castelluccio of Sopranos’ Fame

Do you love “The Sopranos”?  Do you want to know what it takes to be cast in one of television’s hottest shows?  Federico Castelluccio, who played Furio Giunta, the hitman and object of Carmella Soprano’s affections on “The Sopranos”, will be in Boston to give students the inside scoop on working on the groundbreaking HBO series, and provide critiques to help actors prepare for their next big break.  Hosted by Boston Casting, the master classes will be held at the InterContinental Hotel on November 20 and 21.

Utilizing scripts from “The Sopranos,” students will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one critiques from Mr. Castelluccio and to participate in a question and answer session with the acclaimed actor.  According to Mr. Castelluccio, he is prepared to share his experiences auditioning for and working on “The Sopranos,” and to enlighten students about the auditioning process in New York and Los Angeles.  “I came from the same place that all aspiring actors come from.  It takes being prepared for that big break and feeling the confidence that comes with studying your craft and believing in yourself.  I know from experience how to motivate actors and help them get to the next level in their careers.”

A multifaceted performer, Mr. Castelluccio maintains three careers, as an established actor, a professional artist and an award winning director.  In addition to his 6 years as Furio Giunta on “The Sopranos,”  Mr. Castelluccio’s film and television credits include MADE with Jon Favreau, EL CANTANTE with Jennifer Lopez, THE PINK PANTHER with Steve Martin, the upcoming films NUMBA ONE, and THE DECOY BRIDE from the producers of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, as well as “NYPD Blue,” and “Law and Order Criminal Intent.”
